Saturday Mornings (8-18 Years) - Chelsea Wharf
About
Weekly Saturday morning drawing and painting classes for 8-18 year olds at Chelsea Wharf, teaching observational techniques in a range of media.
These Saturday morning term classes at Chelsea Fine Arts are open to young people aged 8 to 18, with beginners welcome and mixed abilities taught together. Students learn drawing and painting from observation using pencil, charcoal, conti, pastel, acrylic, watercolour and oil, covering composition, perspective, light and shadow, tone and texture. Sessions work from still life subjects, landscapes and photographic studies of the human form and animals, and introduce relevant historical artworks to broaden students' artistic range. Classes run 10:30am to 1:00pm; registration is currently for a waiting list with available places to be released shortly.
