Nu Earth Groove ft. Dance Against Deportations

An 8-piece jazz-funk house band, community discussions and Dance Against Deportations DJ sets combine for a night of global liberation music and organising.

The night opens with community discussions on building a better society, before Nu Earth Groove's 8-piece house band performs a meditative 'Nu Earth Soul' set followed by high-energy jazz-funk rhythms drawing on Afrikan, Asian and Latin American influences, largely improvised live. Dance Against Deportations DJs close the night, with speakers appearing throughout to share how to get involved in community organising. The event is framed as a gathering point for collective liberation work, combining music, dancing and mobilising.
