The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols

A traditional service of readings and carols at Bristol Cathedral, with festive music sung by the Cathedral Choir and Cathedral Consort.

Bristol Cathedral marks the start of Christmas with the traditional Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, a service of readings and carols. Festive music is sung by the Cathedral Choir and Cathedral Consort. Two services are listed, on 23 and 24 December, and the cathedral also offers a shorter version on 20 December for those who prefer a less busy service.
