Arts Society Fylde Lecture – February 2027

Art historian Cindy Polemis gives an Arts Society Fylde lecture on the women artists of the Surrealist movement.

The Arts Society Fylde's February lecture, 'Surrealist Women', is delivered by art historian and Tate guide Cindy Polemis. It explores female Surrealist artists such as Frida Kahlo, Meret Oppenheim and Leonora Carrington, who worked alongside better-known male figures like Dalí, Magritte and Ernst to create haunting works with a distinctive conceptual energy. Guests are welcome to attend and pay on the door.
