Clay Sculpting — separate ages 6+ and 10+ sessions
About
Children explore clay sculpting through guided shaping and turning a two-dimensional idea into a three-dimensional piece. Morning and afternoon sessions have different age eligibility.
Morning workshops on 23 and 30 October run from 10:00 to 12:30 for ages 6 and over, with Year One the published school-year minimum. The 23 October afternoon workshop runs from 13:00 to 15:30 for ages 10 and over, with a Year Five minimum. Children practise sculpting with step-by-step guidance; the older session also describes hand-building, texture and detail. Both welcome beginners and students with experience. The age 6+ workshops include materials and a finished piece to take home; bring water, a nut-free snack and old clothes or an apron.
