Rob Shaw: Catch Of The Day

A free solo exhibition of Rob Shaw's sculpted oil paintings of Britain's coasts and marine life at The Atelier Gallery.

The Atelier Gallery hosts 'Catch Of The Day', a solo show by former interior architect Rob Shaw, who builds richly sculpted oil paintings with palette knives. Inspired by Scotland's East Coast fishing villages and the harbours of Staithes in North Yorkshire, his work depicts marine life such as mackerel and a blue lobster with a playful, contemporary edge. The exhibition runs from 23rd October to 13th November 2026, open Tuesdays 11am-5pm, Wednesday to Saturday 10am-5pm and Sundays 11am-5pm.
