Victoria Centre

A volunteer repair café where people bring electrical, electronic or textile items to be diagnosed and fixed with help from Wellingborough Repair Cafe fixers.

Wellingborough Repair Cafe hosts a Restart Party repair café at the Victoria Centre, running from 9am to 12 noon. Visitors can bring electrical, electronic or textile items, or other portable items, and volunteers will try to fix them — no guarantees, but over half of devices are repaired. Attendees pay only for parts and are encouraged to make a donation; the emphasis is on learning to repair rather than a free repair service, so people should back up data, charge devices and bring leads.
