About
High-school graduate and cartoonist Hoops McCann joins his friends on a Nantucket trip, where they become involved in Cassandra’s effort to protect her grandfather’s property.
AFI’s catalog describes the 1986 comedy as following Hoops from graduation to a two-week visit to Nantucket. A property-development dispute, comic rivalries and a sailing race shape the group’s summer.
