Young Company Creates – Script Writing (age 14-21)

A script-writing project for ages 14-21 creating an original show inspired by Buxton's local tales and rivers, starting in February 2027.

Buxton Opera House is launching a new script-writing project for young creatives aged 14 to 21, following the success of the Young Company's previous show But Life Finds a Way, Doesn't It?. Participants will collaborate on an original piece inspired by local tales, the natural surroundings and the rivers running through Buxton, to be performed at the Buxton Fringe and Outdoor Opera House. The process begins in February 2027, with further research and development possibly required afterwards, and applicants will be sent a form nearer the time to complete booking.
