Christmas Big Telescopes for Small Astronomers

A festive family stargazing evening pairs historic-telescope viewing with the “What Santa Sees” planetarium film and included hot drinks.

Families can explore the night sky through the Observatory’s historic telescopes and view “What Santa Sees”, an immersive planetarium journey with Santa. The ticket includes a warm drink and child’s biscuit and a hot drink for grown-ups. Gates open at 17:00 and the event finishes at 20:30. Poor observing weather does not cancel the event; an indoor planetarium and astronomy programme is provided.
