Christmas At The Botanics
About
An illuminated festive trail at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh marking its 10th anniversary, with light installations, a projection on Inverleith House and Father Christmas.
Christmas at the Botanics returns for its tenth year with an evening illuminated trail through the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. Historic botanical illustrations from the Garden's archive, including works by Pierre-Antoine Poiteau and Joseph Jacob von Plenck, are reimagined through a large-scale light and animation projection on Inverleith House by design studio NOVAK. The trail also highlights ten trees from the living collection, features returning installations such as the Christmas Cathedral, Pealit Tree, Flowing Stream of Light and Light Sphere, and includes a visit from Father Christmas.
