Contemporary British silversmith Brett Payne talks about his career in craftsmanship and design, from his 'Designer of the Year' win at the UK Jewellery Awards to his focus on silver as a practical, everyday material. Doors open at 6pm, when Museum Director Lauren Marshall will show highlights from the Merchant Adventurers' silver collection, with the lecture starting at 6.30pm. The event runs until 7.30pm and free places must be booked in advance.
