About
A City of London history walk tracing its development from Roman riverside settlement to a trading centre, including the story behind Dick Whittington.
Led by lawyer and guide Judith Kent, the walk follows the City’s early trading geography, from the Walbrook and Thames wharves through livery halls, churches and lanes to Guildhall. It covers merchants, migrants, apprentices and the changing City from Roman London through the 1600s.
