About
The annual Turner in January display returns to the National Galleries of Scotland, showing 38 JMW Turner watercolours bequeathed by Henry Vaughan.
Each January the National Galleries of Scotland exhibits 38 watercolours by JMW Turner, gifted to the people of Scotland by collector Henry Vaughan in 1900. Because of their light sensitivity, the works are shown only once a year when light levels are at their lowest. The exhibition runs daily from 10am to 5pm throughout January 2027 and admission is free.
