Angela Heisch

Angela Heisch presents new paintings that layer curved forms and gestural lines into luminous, shifting compositions.

Heisch’s new paintings build dense fields from repeated motifs, curved forms and delicate gestural lines. Layered oil paint gives the compositions an organic sense of motion, balanced by contrasts such as light and dark, hard and soft, and surface and depth.
