From Hilde with Love (TRAMPS)

TRAMPS community cinema screens From Hilde with Love, a drama about a young woman in the WWII Berlin resistance group the Red Orchestra.

TRAMPS, the Ribblesdale Area Moving Picture Show, presents a screening of From Hilde with Love at Settle Victoria Hall. Set in Berlin in 1942, the film follows shy young Hilde, who falls in love with Hans and joins the resistance group known as the Red Orchestra, before the Gestapo arrests members of the group. Inspired by a true story, it is a tale of love and quiet defiance in wartime Germany. TRAMPS is a not-for-profit voluntary mobile cinema service; showings are open to all with no membership required, and films are normally foreign-language.
