About
Writer and broadcaster Pete Goodrum gives a nostalgic, humorous talk on Norwich through the 1950s and 60s, from post-war rebuilding to the Swinging Sixties.
The Norwich Society hosts writer and broadcaster Pete Goodrum for a talk based on two of his best-selling local history books. He looks at Norwich across two decades of change, as the city emerged from Second World War bomb damage and embraced the Swinging Sixties — 'from bomb sites to The Beatles'. The talk combines historical facts with humour and nostalgia and runs for 90 minutes.
