About

New Adventures bring Matthew Bourne's wartime-set dance production of Cinderella to Norwich Theatre Royal for its 30th anniversary.

New Adventures return to Norwich with the 30th Anniversary production of Matthew Bourne's Cinderella, a dance-theatre retelling of the fairytale set in London during the 1940 Blitz. Cinderella and a young RAF pilot share a magical night together before being parted by the horrors of the war. The production features Lez Brotherston's Olivier Award-winning designs, lighting by Neil Austin, projection by Duncan McLean, Paul Groothuis's sound design and Prokofiev's score. Running time is 2 hours 30 minutes including two intervals, recommended for ages 8+, with an audio described performance on Sat 10 Apr at 2:30pm and a BSL interpreted Q&A after the Wed 7 Apr show.
