About
A hands-on family clay workshop where participants create spooky sea creatures and reef tiles inspired by Brighton's chalk reef with ceramic artist Kate McMinnies.
This two-hour Halloween-themed family workshop invites participants aged 5 and up to pinch, roll and shape their own clay sea creature and a reef tile, which will join a shared underwater scene. The session opens with a brief introduction to Brighton's chalk reef, the Southwick reef and the creatures that live there. No experience is needed, all materials and tools are provided, and attendees take their creations home to air-dry. Each ticket includes a donation to Sussex Bay.
