About
Charmaine Watkiss presents drawings and sculpture exploring women, plant knowledge and histories carried through the maternal line.
This exhibition brings together drawing and a new sculptural installation by Charmaine Watkiss. Her work connects healing traditions, the histories of the transatlantic slave trade and plant knowledge, using clay, metals, wood and crystals to explore women’s stories and spiritual relationships with plants.
