About

An improvised horror storytelling show where Alex Staniforth invents a macabre tale each night with audience suggestions and volunteers.

Stand Up Horror is an improvised horror storytelling show at The Banshee Labyrinth, in which actor, writer and tour guide Alex Staniforth invents a new horror story every night. Voluntary audience members are drawn in as performers, and the crowd makes suggestions to help guide the adventure — facing ghosts, zombies, witches or all three — and helps determine whether they live or die. Performances run 45 minutes, at 9:45pm in 2025 and 9:30pm in 2026.
