Nature Tots at Heysham Nature Reserve

A sensory nature session for young children at Heysham Nature Reserve with a stroll, seasonal crafts and a story.

Part of the reserve's 'Connecting to Nature' project, these monthly sessions invite young children to explore the wildlife around Heysham Nature Reserve. Each session includes a sensory stroll around the reserve followed by seasonal craft activities and a story, with materials and instructions provided. It takes place outdoors in a sheltered location (moving indoors in colder months), with children supervised by a parent or guardian throughout.
