The Ink Society: Creative Writing Group

A monthly creative writing group at Darlington Library covering topics from short stories to publishing, with tips, workshopping and peer feedback.

The Ink Society is Darlington Libraries' monthly creative writing group, meeting on the first Saturday of each month for one-hour sessions. Each month focuses on a different topic — upcoming sessions include short stories, poetry, creative nonfiction, script, digital writing and writing competitions — examining techniques used by bestselling authors alongside writing tips and workshopping time. The group offers a supportive, non-judgemental environment with optional peer sharing, and welcomes writers of all levels and abilities, whether writing for pleasure or publication.
