About

A hybrid talk by astronomer Anne Inkenhaag on how metals form in the universe and why gamma-ray burst galaxies help measure them.

The Mexborough & Swinton Astronomical Society hosts a hybrid meeting, attendable in person at Mexborough Church Hall or via Zoom. Dr Anne Inkenhaag, a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Bath, explores how elements heavier than hydrogen and helium are made and spread across the universe, and why gamma-ray burst galaxies are useful for measuring cosmic metal content. The talk runs for two and a half hours.
