Tetsuo: The Iron Man

After a driver strikes a metal-obsessed stranger, his own body begins turning into scrap metal as the stranger appears to guide the change.

Arrow Films’ product page distinguishes Tetsuo 1 from its sequel: a Japanese salaryman who hits a metal-obsessed man begins to undergo a scrap-metal transformation, while the apparent victim seems to be guiding the process. The distributor credits Shinya Tsukamoto as director. The source page’s combined Blu-ray runtime covers both Tetsuo films and is not used to set this screening’s end time.
