Community Supermarket

A weekly community supermarket offering affordable food and support to local residents.

Anyone is welcome to join the Newhaven and Peacehaven Community Supermarkets; no referral is needed. New members receive six consecutive weeks of free support after signing up. After that, the requested contribution is £3 each time you visit. The weekly food choices include fresh fruit and vegetables, tinned food, bread, hygiene items, period products and nappies. Each visitor receives a drink and one food option. The Community Café also offers unlimited hot or cold drinks and a snack; a donation of your choice is requested if you would like both food options. A loyalty card gives a free shop after five stamps.
