Trad Irish Folk Sessions at The Grapes

A free weekly session of traditional Irish folk music played by local musicians every Thursday evening at The Grapes pub in Bath.

Every Thursday from 8pm, The Grapes hosts a traditional Irish folk session led by a rotating group of local musicians, sometimes joined by players from further afield. Sessions usually feature at least six musicians, often rising to around fifteen, playing fiddle, bodhran, box, banjo, guitar, whistle and occasionally pipes. Musicians who know enough tunes are welcome to come along one week and arrange to join in.
