About

A festive evening of carol singing, marshmallow toasting and mulled cider in the 14th-century Abbey Barn at Somerset Rural Life Museum.

This family-friendly festive gathering takes place in the museum's 14th-century Abbey Barn, with carol singing led by friends from Castle Cary and Glastonbury Methodists from around 6pm to 8pm, with song sheets provided. From 5pm to 7pm visitors can toast marshmallows over the fire, and mulled cider and hot mulled apple juice are available to purchase. Abbey Farm will be dressed for Christmas and there is an elf trail for families.
