About
Gentle 50+ walking hockey sessions every Thursday morning at Uddingston Cricket & Sports Club, followed by coffee, cake and a chat.
Uddingston Hockey Club runs walking hockey sessions aimed primarily at people aged 50 and over, with participants ranging from their fifties to 87 and all abilities welcome. Each Thursday session begins with a gentle warm-up and game play, with plenty of breaks throughout, making it very beginner friendly. Afterwards the group gathers in the clubhouse for coffee, cake and a chat, and a WhatsApp group helps members keep an eye on anyone who misses a week.
