About

Jackie Oates and John Spiers perform English carols, wassails, and festive songs and tunes with fiddle, melodeon, and other acoustic instruments.

The concert pairs singer and fiddler Jackie Oates with melodeon player John Spiers for a seasonal folk performance. Their festive set includes English carols, wassails, and other historical traditions. The music draws on songs and tunes from the British Isles and beyond, performed with fiddle, melodeon, percussion, recorders, and stomp box.
