Body Worlds: The Anatomy of Happiness
About
The Body Worlds exhibition makes its London debut at Sussex Mansions, using real human specimens and plastinates to explore how happiness affects the body.
Body Worlds: The Anatomy of Happiness is a self-paced indoor exhibition running at Sussex Mansions on Old Brompton Road, its first London presentation after touring 175 cities worldwide. Visitors explore real human specimens and whole-body plastinates preserved through Gunther von Hagens' plastination process, alongside interactive displays such as the Anatomical Mirror. Dedicated areas cover the brain, heart and foetal development, examining how joy physically transforms the body. The visit lasts about an hour, with a free audio guide available via QR codes, and is open to all ages although parental discretion is advised for some mature content.
