Monthly Creative Memory Cafe

A free monthly dementia-friendly social cafe with tea, cake, games, music and a creative activity led by a trained facilitator.

The Roses' Memory Cafe is a friendly monthly social group for people with dementia, those experiencing memory loss, and current or former carers — no formal diagnosis is needed to attend. Sessions include tea and cake, games tables with dominoes, Connect 4 and cards, and an easy creative activity offered by facilitator Emma Parkinson, with music and memory-sharing around a monthly theme such as nature, the outdoors or hobbies. The team is dementia-awareness trained and can signpost attendees to local dementia support services; large care-home groups cannot be accommodated.
