The West Midlands Maternal Medicine Network hosts a full-day study day on obstetric medicine, aimed at health professionals who encounter maternity patients or want to build knowledge in maternal medicine. Sessions follow the Maternal Care Bundle and cover shortness of breath and chest pain in pregnancy, VTE, first trimester problems in SDEC, medication and imaging, and neurology in pregnancy. Speakers share regional learning through case studies, with opportunities for questions and networking among the wider multidisciplinary team.
