Michael Portillo

Michael Portillo shares stories from his life in politics and broadcasting in a live on-stage talk at the Adelphi Theatre.

Michael Portillo appears live on stage to tell the story of his life, from his father's escape from the Spanish Civil War and his parents' meeting in England, through his career as a minister under Margaret Thatcher and Conservative leadership contender, to his reinvention as a broadcaster and railway traveller. The show mixes funny and reflective anecdotes about politics, television and his journeys across Spain, the USA and India. It is a single evening performance at the Adelphi Theatre; running time is yet to be confirmed.
