Workshop: Anifeiliaid Dof - Tamme Dyr - Domesticated Animals

A writing, making and zine workshop hosted by artist Hattie Morrison exploring domestic objects, folklore and gender.

Participants bring an item from their own domestic space that they consider feminine, then explore ideas such as performance without an audience, gendered objects, fake folklore and the roots of old wives' tales. During the session they make folkloric zines and collages using archival, kitsch and kitchen materials, for an exhibition alongside participants from Capel Bethel, the National Museum of Wales, the University of Oslo and creative sites in Bergen, Norway. All participants will be credited. The workshop is part of a series commissioned by the Arts Council of Wales with The Nordic Culture Fund, a Northern European Mobility Opportunity (NEMO).
