The GSA Choir Christmas Concerts

The GSA Choir's annual Christmas concert features Britten's A Ceremony of Carols, Capperauld's The Winter's Brightening and the world premiere of Kim Porter's 'Stars'.

The GSA Choir returns to the New Auditorium for its annual Christmas concerts, with 150 singers performing a programme spanning three musical worlds. The centrepiece is the world premiere of 'Stars', a new commission by Kim Porter setting Marjorie Pickthall's poem, alongside Jay Capperauld's 'The Winter's Brightening' and Benjamin Britten's 'A Ceremony of Carols'. Familiar festive favourites are also promised, with performances at 3pm and 7.30pm.
