Remembrance at IWM London

Visitors gather in IWM London’s atrium before a two-minute silence at 11:00am on Remembrance Sunday.

The museum invites everyone to gather for Remembrance Sunday, with the event listed from 10:55 and a two-minute silence across IWM London at 11:00. The Last Post will be played in the Atrium, followed by a viola recital of Six Studies in English Folk Songs by R. Vaughan Williams. Players from London’s Centre for Young Musicians will perform. The museum marks 108 years since the end of the First World War and commemorates lives lost in both World Wars and later conflicts.
