Reminiscence Café

A relaxed drop-in café at Carlisle Library for sharing memories and stories over tea, with old photographs of Carlisle.

Carlisle Libraries hosts a Reminiscence Café where people gather over a cup of tea to share memories and stories in a friendly setting. Sessions feature photographs of old Carlisle and conversation about work, schooldays and other recollections. The café runs for two hours on the third Friday of each month, with no booking required — visitors can simply drop in, whether they have stories to tell or prefer to listen.
