York The Hospitium: A Black Christmas Special
About
A Victorian-inspired alternative Christmas evening of candlelit ghost stories, mediumship and a gothic festive marketplace at The Hospitium, York.
SEASON OF THE RAVEN: A BLACK CHRISTMAS is an atmospheric Victorian-inspired evening of darkness, folklore and festive mystery, tailored to the ghostly tales of its York venue. Doors and stalls open from 4pm, with mince pies and mulled punch while visitors browse an alternative, gothic and festive marketplace. From 5pm, Curator Rob Shersby and Paul Forster retell chilling Yorkshire ghost stories by candlelight, before spiritual medium Brenda Diskin shares her journey into mediumship and attempts spirit communication through psychometry. The evening runs for three hours.
