About
The company imitating the dog reworks Romeo and Juliet, blending live performance, visual storytelling, and contemporary technology.
Two older actors revisit the story fifty years later, as memory loss changes their relationship with the narrative. The production combines live acting and digital imagery in a moving exploration of love and memory. It is an ode to the shattering experience of first and last love. The show contains flashing imagery, loud noises, smoke effects, and themes of dementia, suicide, and sexual content.
