European Heritage Days: Learn to Cross-stitch

Ariadne’s Thread invites visitors to learn cross-stitch and contribute to the Blue Cornflowers tapestry at Dorich House Museum.

The drop-in sessions introduce cross-stitch in the museum’s first-floor modelling studio. Ariadne’s Thread supplies needles and thread and supports beginners. The participatory Blue Cornflowers tapestry is based on a painting by Ukrainian folk artist Maria Prymachenko; Ukrainian folk textiles and embroidery samples are also on display.
