About
A panel on Trigger Points, mapping the real fault lines in Britain's political divisions.
Professor Steffen Mau (Humboldt-University of Berlin), Dr Sacha Hilhorst (University of Manchester) and Professor Jonathan Hopkin (LSE Department of Government), chaired by Professor Naila Kabeer, discuss Trigger Points, which argues that ordinary citizens hold more nuanced views than polarised headlines suggest, and that social inequality underlies the specific 'trigger points' -- such as gendered pronouns or refugee admissions -- that ignite public conflict.
