About
Turned wooden bowls, tall forms and sculptural fruit made from local and sustainable hardwoods.
Ian Payne follows the natural character of the timber as he turns forms with flared or straight sides. Traditional turning is combined with contemporary details, including ebonising and lime-waxing to bring out contrasting grains. River Stairwell, 18 July–8 November 2026.
