Tom Rooney: My Own Masterpieces

A free solo exhibition of drawings, paintings and collages by Blue Room artist Tom Rooney at Cass Art next to the Bluecoat.

My Own Masterpieces presents drawings, paintings and collages by Tom Rooney, a member of Bluecoat's inclusive Blue Room arts programme, that rethink familiar places. Drawing on his experience as a wheelchair user, Rooney invites viewers to see buildings and spaces from different perspectives and angles. He has developed his practice since 2021 through Studio Me, with support from artist mentors, facilitators and curators, and his work also features in Becky Beasley's exhibition in the Bluecoat gallery.
