About

A one-day course exploring how the Women Over Fifty Film Festival challenges ageism and brings older women's stories to the screen.

Marking Menopause Awareness Month, this one-day course at City Lit examines the experiences of women over 50 in film, both on-screen and behind the camera, through the work of the Women Over Fifty Film Festival (WOFFF). Participants will discover how filmmakers are challenging ageism and foregrounding older women's stories. The session also explains how attendees could get involved as a WOFFF 2027 Film Selector.
