About
Dalry Film Club screens a documentary about the 2021 Kenmure Street community blockade of a Home Office immigration enforcement operation.
The film documents the May 2021 incident in Glasgow when Home Office Immigration Enforcement attempted to detain two men, only for neighbours to blockade the van in a show of community action. Compiled from a variety of sources including interviews, the film celebrates the strength of community activism. Doors open at 7pm for coffee, tea and cake, with the screening beginning at 7.30pm.
