The 2026 Great Hale Slightly Boozy Santa Run

A festive fancy-dress fun run in Great Hale offering a 1.5km village event and a 10km route, with food, drinks and a raffle afterwards.

Participants dress as Santas, elves, fairies or snowmen for a festive run or walk raising funds for the village hall and a nominated charity. There is a roughly 1.5km village event plus a 10km option for more ambitious runners, with festive spirit around the course and snacks galore. All entrants receive a Santa hat and food and drinks, and afterwards there are Christmas tunes in the hall. Attendees are asked to bring a raffle prize and cash for raffle tickets.
