Lucie Rie / Hans Coper: Life at the Wheel
About
An exhibition of more than 200 works by Lucie Rie and Hans Coper traces the two ceramic artists’ evolving forms and their shared history in Britain.
Works drawn from private collections span Rie’s early Vienna ceramics through her late career, alongside Coper’s experiments and refined later forms. The exhibition follows their individual approaches and the connections formed while working together at Albion Mews. It occupies four rooms over three floors at Offer Waterman’s Mayfair gallery and is accompanied by a catalogue. Entry is free without booking. Visitors can attend Tuesday to Friday from10am to6pm and Saturday from11am to5pm; the gallery is closed to the public on Sundays and Mondays. Bags must be left in the entrance hall. The building is not fully wheelchair accessible and its lift is temporarily out of service; visitors should contact the gallery about access needs.
