The Monkees Tale

A tribute show telling the story of The Monkees with a live band of singers and musicians and a comedic narrator.

The Monkees Tale traces the story of the 1960s sitcom band created by Bob Rafelson and Bert Schneider, inspired by A Hard Day's Night. It follows how Micky Dolenz, Mike Nesmith, Peter Tork and Davy Jones went from singing over session musicians' recordings to becoming a real touring band. The show features a young band of singers and musicians who perform the hits live, alongside a comedic narrator.
