Art for All: Gonks, Gonks and More Gonks (4yrs+)

A family Christmas craft workshop at Southampton City Art Gallery where children aged 4+ and adults make festive gonks from everyday materials.

This festive Art for All workshop invites children aged four and over, with adults welcome to join in, to create their own gonk — a charming Christmas figure that has become a seasonal tradition at the gallery. Participants work with everyday materials to design their gonk's outfit and accessories. Four one-hour sessions run across the day, and every participating child or adult needs a ticket, while non-participating accompanying adults do not.
